Cant say I use the extra capacity that much Ttonup but its nice to have.Only fill it up if im off to Wales but mostly around the half full mark for local rides.Great upgrade as bike is much more flickable and I presume lightweight alloy tanks offer the same more responsive feel.
Yes for me the main reason to swap fuel tank was weight saving but the extra capacity is useful come summertime on longer rides. The OP can also consider Kevlar fuel tanks as alternative from companies like fuelcel FuelCel Ducati 848 1098 1198 motorcycle gas-fuel tanks for sportbikes kevlar
