  1. Is it only me, or does anyone else think that's just wrong ?

  2. I wouldn't fit one, but the engineering is pretty good

  3. I think it's maybe 10 years too late to sell. I've had nice rare 996 parts that were already hard to shift. I ended up giving some to Rich at Louigi Moto cos at least he'd have half a chance of doing something with them. This was before finding this forum though.

  4. Firstly, I wouldn't fit it because it just looks completely wrong...........

Secondly, fancy using the Sachs shock........the worst one out of all that were fitted to the SS.

  5. Agreed - Nice engineering, but the wrong mix of old and new

  6. It's a Febur unit, no mod's required, so completely reversible, contemporary with the bikes it fits ;).
The Sach's shock has been rebuilt for this application :upyeah:.

  7. Still the worst shock to use, though............but IMO it looks better than the Showa.

  8. I kind of admire it, but I'm looking to get a nice tubular double sided one knocked up :)

  9. Tell us more!

  10. Fitted photo's!!

  11. It's not mine, it's for sale here in NZ, I thought it looked OK, something different...

  12. I'm sure the engineering is brilliant, but it just looks wrong...
