I enjoyed that. Slight overreaction by the locals, but probably fuelled by extreme exaggerations about the intent of the bbc team. Glad nobody got too badly hurt, but ultimately its probably soured the UK Argentinian relationship a little further. Saying that, we're never going to get along

Well I enjoyed the show and am a big fan of Top Gear in general, I find Clarkson highly amusing even though he hates all bikers with a passion. I want that Mustang.
i don't really like TG in general , ( or the tory twat that is Clarkston ), it is just a little too contrived but there was so much more going on in this episode and all pretence at reality was seemingly abandoned anyway that I did enjoy it..it is really just a sit com for petrolheads now, ( does anyone really think that Clarkston is so stupid that he believes that we can believe that he can fix an ECU at the side of the road , me thinks not ) , ha ha,, my neighbour liked the Mustang best as well !!
Should have dropped some Para's in and then seen how angry they were If it was a genuine oversight then what they were doing was OK with the football match etc - but if the plate was indeed a plant, which I must say, I imagine is was - then it was a tad silly. I expect they thought it wouldn't get noticed and they would have used it in the end credits somehow having just lost the football match or something similar...
