Hello From Wiltshire

  1. Hi there, picked up a beautiful ST4S ABS just before Xmas - 54 plate but old shape and only 4k miles. Rode it back from Cromer but have since been stuck inside due to weather. To be honest it's so clean I won't be taking it out in the winter unless there's a really dry day.

    I've think I've attached a photo file...

So far I've fitted the brand-new (still in their box!) Ducati panniers that came with the bike and also fitted a Scottoiler.

Anyway looks like some really good info on here so hopefully I can add to the discussion.

    Cheers

  6. My old nan used to always tell me 'never believe anyone who says they've bought a beautiful bike then says its a ST4', she was right, I suppose it's red at least.:):):upyeah:

  7. Sitting next to my k1100 she's gorgeous! In the eye of the beholder...

  8. I think it looks fantastic, but so does my ST2 next to my K100RS! You can trust people from north of Swindon as I used to live in Highworth and you can trust me.
Not sure that I would venture to the badlands around Cromer to buy a bike though.

  9. I lived in highworth in 1989 when I had an RG400. Then moved to Lincoln and swapped it for a K100RS. Small world. Until you ride from Cromer in winter.

  10. how do - nice bike

  11. I had loads of different bikes in Highworth, but moved to Norfolk! I then got fed up with mud and sugar beet on the roads so I moved to France where there is no road tax and no MOTs for bikes. Now I need to build another garage before I buy any more bikes.

  12. Hi, several of us from Wiltshire in here and hope to catch up sometime.

I have a few bits left from my ST4 including a baglux cover and bags and a billet machined Satnav bar.

  13. I used to stay a lot in Highworth (3 days a week) when I worked for a company based in Swindon.

Highworth is nice. Swindon is a shit hole.

    Welcome anyway Dave :)

  14. Another Wiltshire one here. welcome in.

  15. If the baglux cover isn't big enough I have an old 12x12 tarpaulin knocking around that would cover the whole thing up.:upyeah::):)

Don't be scared to look into the Box hill thread, for reasons I cannot fathom most meets in the South end up in there.
