I don't find it an issue.... but then I am a rather strange shape compared to proper people. May I suggest you add a bit of mass to the mirrors, such as packing them with lead shop mixed into DumDum ( via the indicator access ) ?
i think the Panigale is a fantastic bike and there are only two things I would change. Very hot ass Very poor mirrors, although I have learned to live with them but would be pleased to make them usable.
I found them ok, but really depends on a persons build, the slightly larger person who's arms stick out a bit more will block the mirrors view, but hey why do you need to see whats coming up behind you, I would be more interested in what I am fast approaching in front of me
I'm 'almost' with ymfb. Most bikes these days seem to have mirrors that put style over function. One of the recent incarnations of ZX10R had 'very' sticky out mirrors and looked horrible mind. So my only gripe is the extremely hot ass issue.
Ahhhh and there was me thinking you meant hot ass as in wow look at that. I am thinking of binning heat shield on 1199 dont mind having hot bum. I found seat comfy enough did 140 mile ride to Norfolk and didn't get numb bum, slippy pegs is right though swapped mine for Oberon only £40
For side stand push down with toe of boot its a lot easier than trying to get it down with heel of boot.
3. slippy standard pegs - never been an issue but I am planning on replacing with Motor Corse 4. side stand thats awkward to put down - not a problem with my Alpinestars 5. standard seat is rubbish - yes, replaced with DP
Not seen you fella but you could write to one of those makeover programs? Failing that just take all the mirrors out of your house.
I hate mirrors, but they are usefull just to check who or what might be behind you especially around town, I just because of that I finally put on a small CRG bar end mirror after riding around 1k miles with any
