  3. Cheers, but alas, I felt the black was a bit 'ducati dark' (dont tel me yours is black :Shy:)
    Its a bit like a ferrari, which colour do you choose. Oh, black, yeah me too actually, my M3 was black..... :-(

  5. Yeah I bought the dark :) most of my Dukes have been dark, oh and the 1199 is not called dark it is called stealth not that it makes much difference.

  8. looks cool, but i would want gloss black, as char said, they used to be cheaper, and a lesser spec, but now the same!
    i wanted to remove the red rim tape, but its not tape, its perfectly applied paint!

    and what a bitch to work on, its like german quality, with renault design! the thing you want to remove has bolts covered by the thing next to it. But the fixings on that, are covered by the thing next to it, etc, etc, etc,
    If you watch them being built, you see why, pre assembled modules are just bolted to the motor, its so far removed from working on a normal bike.

  10. Heh....my rsv4 is even worse.....to get to one bolt on the rear SAS plate I had to take the whole exhaust system off, unbolt the front rad, take the tank, injectors and airbox off....

  11. I know its a pig just changing front sprocket or replacing heat shield, its not a case of just removing 3 bolts no more :(

    Great choice of bike, not any good for me these days with my dodgy left knee, I need something less 'committed' don't you know, Mutli like!! :Yawn:

    Oh and no offence, but Ducbird is absolutely correct: RED is simply the best :Banghead:
    Whatever you ride keep it safe and upright.

    I don't know what the heck is going to happen down here in Wiltshire about the tea and duvet stuff :Bawling:

    you have to take the engine out just to refuel!
