  1. I finally got motivated and ordered a Rizoma tail tidy and Rizoma Zero LED indicators.
Well I didn't read that the indicators were sold separately... so I have one here and have ordered a second one this morning.

I was wondering though - how hard is it to install the tail tidy / indicators?
Is this something I can do myself... or am I better off getting some to do it for me?

  2. Very easy installation and just a few tools needed and a bit of common sense, anyhow the tail tidy / indicators should come with installation instructions and always good to take some pics as they might come in handy just as the head scratching starts during re-assembly.....

Since you have the "rear" apart anyhow might be good idea to check the wobbly bits as well, in case your rear license plate bracket and indicators have / had the shakes....

  3. thanks mate.
Very limited mechanical background here... so glad to read your post.
Nice tip about the wobbly bits too... out riding the whole huge rear end does shake around quite a bit.

Here is hoping the 2nd indicator arrives tomorrow... and then later in the week, I might just pluck up the courage to give it all a crack.

I was given the tip to get the Rizoma wiring kit (two small lengths) so let's just hope it is all fairly simple and I'm not missing anything and get stuck half way.

  4. Rizoma. Accept no substitute :)

  5. I'm totally inept mechanically and electrically.
Yet still managed to fit the Rizoma tail tidy and indicators 3 yrs ago.
They haven't fallen off and they still work.
    You'll be fine.
TBR's tips about the photos are spot on,that's what I did.

  6. excellent.... good to hear.

I am surprised though that Rizoma being a brand with such a world wide following and reputation... still only ship with such rudimentary instructions. Let's just hope it is as simple as people say... despite the photos and lack of directions included :)
