Don't worry emm like I said I've dropped loads spesh twins!!!!! It's all part of the v twin lunge stall drop .... New parts thang ..... Now you can get some new levers!!!!!! only just caught this thread, the weather turned good this afternoon so I guess it was a good ride out? will be interested in tagging along on the next if thats ok?
Glad your ok and has been said we all do it. Just to make you feel a liitle better picture this. Had my brand new MV f4 1000 a week and thought I would pop up to Matlock. Got there all ok and felt like jonny big potatos. Had coffee and cake and made my way back. Fuel light came on so pulled in to the packed petrol station. All admiring my beautiful machine. Like a clever shit I filled up as I sat on it then dismounted. But only as a window licker could, I hadn't put my side stand out which resulted in me being pinned against the petrol pump and not a chance of getting up. Two guys rushed to pick the bike back up leaving me on the floor. They put it on it's stand and just said "your bikes ok mate" and left me struggling to get up. I had cracked two ribs which was so painful riding home. That was my lesson in don't think your the dogs bollox Troy cause when you do someone or something will remind you once a window licker always a window licker Troy :wink:
On the way too Emms from Salisbury I went to fill up near tamworth cold wet and dark , pulled off garage on the right selected my pump that was free and turned right towards it ..... Only numpty balls didn't see the raised curb in the way ???? So I launched me and the 996 up the curb at the pump instead , fuuuuuuuuck!!!!! I also managed to keep my hand on the throttle as it went over alerting half of Stafford to to my error as it went over ...... Someone help me up and I wheeled to the pump nearly putting diesel in at the same time !!!!!!!! I couldn't look up at the cashier but I know he was pissing himself ..... Note to self go in where it says entrance !!!!! Don't try and be a smart arse .......
