Sorry to be a larry let down but still at Leicester royal with my friend who had a off at mallory yesterday. He is going for his second op. Hope you all have a great time.
Lucaz, if I pass you, I'll stop to help : ) Troy, I'm sure we'll all be thinking of your buddy and anyone who's had the misfortune to come off recently. Going to be warm...
Was about two miles towards the tunnel, bike gauge was at 105 degrees air temp was 32, my thighs were at roughly the same temp as the sun
I'm glad I did not take the little guy then. Was it bad again up to the tunnel? Last week it had ten mile tailbacks!! I woke up to go felt rough thought I'd grab an extra 15 mins .. Woke up checked the clock it was 2.30!! I'm laying on my bed with a fan in Suffolk. Given that the 600 is fried in Norfolk I figured frying the 400 was a bad plan! And expensive. I hate the heat 18 degrees - 24 is hot enough for me . Give me snow and cold in the northlands and I am in heaven! In moving about , with no air and stupidly hot house I now have a belting headache and feel sick so glad I did not risk it!!
How hot was that, even cider with ice did not help!!! Got home 20 min ago and directly to cold bath, next pizza, cider and MotoGP.
Disastrous ride home as I made a mistake with my visor choice, for some obscure reason I decided to use my clear visor instead of the tinted visor which I normally use, and could barely see where I was going due to the sun in my eyes. Great to see some very nice Ducati's though, especially Jerry's and Andy's 749r's. Congratulations to Gary with his trike, who won the best bike award.
Good to meet you Steve and Richard, loads of new faces. Sitting on the grass in the sun surrounded by Italian machinery watching all the balloons depart (one had to abort) and eating a large bowl of half-price chicken Paella.. priceless
