Moto Rapido Bsb

  1. Does anyone know if Moto Rapido and Kuba Smrz are returning for BSB in 2015? I haven't seen anything yet and wondered if anyone knew anything?

  2. Good question. Last time I spoke to Wilf about the BSB I got the impression a deal to run Kuba for another season was a done deal but I do emphasise it was an impression. I believe there was a hope that the team would run a second bike although not sure which class the second bike would run in. A Christmas e-mail said news would be forthcoming. I'm in the shop on Saturday collecting my birthday present so unless someone has an answer before, I'll ask. Andy

That's what I thought, would be great to see them back again, I follow Kuba on facebook and he has been putting all sorts of stuff up about working on his fitness for the new season but nothing confirmed. Didn't Moto Rapido sign a deal with Lloyds British for sponsorship for the season too?

  4. Certainly did. Announced at the last round at Brands when the bike ran with the Lloyds logo. Andy

So I was in early this morning but unfortunately no Wilf and Craig and Luke didn't have any new news except that 2 shiny race bikes and spare engines had arrived in the workshop the previous evening so I'm guessing everything is go, just not sure of the detail. Still not long to wait for news as the teams should be starting to test soon, somewhere nice and warm I'd suspect. Andy

  7. Sound promising. Hopefully we will hear something soon then. If they do run a second bike I wonder who the rider would be along side Smrz. Assuming Smrz stays for another season that is....

  8. this months BSN says that next months issue features Moto Rapido's return to BSB...??

  10. My inside info (not from anyone @MR) says that Kuba will definitely ride for MR this year, nothing about a second bike though

  11. I'm not 100% but I think there was a mention of 2 bikes being run in 2015 when team returned a Brands Hatch last October. Either way, would be great to see Kuba running again, hopefully running for a showdown spot :)
