  1. Do you wear and why ?
i have a few pair of gloves Knox Handroids, Dianese Ignition, but by far the best gloves i have and still use after 3 years of use are my Alpinestar Sp1,s , great fit, comfy, really supple leather and and excellent feel on grips ,levers and switch,s , anyone else have new gloves but always go back to the old faithfulls ?

  2. Always been a alpinestars man, currently have the GP1 GLove and a pair of Goretex for the colder days,

Never tried anything else and until alpinestars lets me down wont have the need to

Did think about changing all my kit to dainese when I went looking for a new winter jacket but that thought lasted as long as it took for the chap at the till to take my money

  3. Had loads over the years, Alpinestars, Spidi's, Handroids, Dainese....all sorts.

But none are as good as the Held Phantom's I've got now. They feel the most comfortable and although I haven't had to crash test them, all the reviews are top notch.

  4. Alpinestars gp pro, crash tested and still working as good as new.

  5. I have about 8 pairs of gloves, 2 goretex winter pairs, Rev it & Weise.
A pair of A'stars for when I'm on track, but I try to wear summer gloves as much as I can , short ones preferably and these are all Richa gloves I just find them by far the most comfortable !!

  6. My favourite so far are Furygan AFS 8 Gloves, crash tested and really super comfy.
If it's pissing it down and freezing, I've got some Aplinestars Jet Road which are very very good but don't like wearing due to lack of feel.

  7. Had my RST pilots for a few years now and despite being crash tested twice, are still going strong.

  8. Spidi Carbotech - well old but fabulous so suit me well :)

  9. Ugh......I'm going to prepare for a LOT of flack for this........

RST, because they match the RST boots, because they match the RST one peace leathers....because it matches the AGV Simoncelli rep lid, because it matches / compliments all three bikes.

  14. Got a set of those Racer gloves, superb things! Although I have some Dainese full metal thingys too, which are my glove of choice....took a little time to break them in but they're superb now!

Had a set of Handroids a few years back, had a relatively quick off on the road and they pretty much disintegrated. Luckily very little injury to my hands but I'm not convinced that was down to the glove entirely. Love the look of them, just don't trust them anymore.

  15. I also had a set of the Handroids, they used to cripple my little finger after a while and then they fell to bits..literally !! so sent them back and fair play they sent me a new pair that fitted completely different..in a bad way !! so sold em.
    I wont bother again.

  16. A -stars Gp Pro ;)
    I do remember paying £150 +
For Dainese gloves 20/25 years ago I must of been mad !
I guess Dainese was a little more Exclusive then ?

  17. Nankai race gloves as worn by most of the racers straight off the shelf. Cost £175 in 1999, lasted 12 years and approx 50,000 miles.

The best piece of motorcycle kit I ever bought. They no longer manufacture them who is a shame.

  18. I bought Doug Chandlers lucky strike nankai leathers @ the day of champions auction in 1992.
They were like brand new & I gave 210 quid
For them, obviously it all gone crazy now !
My mates still got them ;)

  19. I been trying to hold of another Pair of Nankai set, but they don't seem to be manufacturing them anymore.
