  3. Thanks for your help mate. Not really familiar with electrics...... so what you mean when say "keyng"?

  4. Thanks for the picture. All the previous dashes have use a 4 row, 26 way Superseal 1.0.

By keying I mean there are plastic moldings on the connector that prevent the wrong one being inserted.

I'll try and ID the connector and get back to you

  6. When you replace the connector it is best to remove one pin at a time and fix that in the correct numbered pin in the new one and continue until all of the pins are located.

Once you have the pins all fitted double check that they are fully located otherwise they will not connect to the pins in the dash. If the locking mechanism is the same as the superseal type there will be a white sliding locking bar that will only lock home if all pins are correctly fitted. If you feel a nice 'click' when sliding the lock into place you should be home and dry:)

    Good luck!

  9. I believe u! Its easy to take the pins out? Or will I need to use any kind of special tools to achieve that?

  10. I used some long nose pliers and providing you unlock the block if yours has one, just grip each wire at the base of the pin and gently pull back. It should just pull out with a little resistance. Same for pushing it in the new block.

Some types do have a fish hook type lock so a very thin screwdriver type tool is necessary. Best just look at you current block and try it.
