Hi, Im looking for details/price indication on a Ducati 900 sport dark, it's a 2003/2004 model. It's never been registered, and as we were selling these new at the time typically this being the last one of a large batch it was missing a fair few parts. (i.e pilfered for parts for the others over the years) These missing parts have now been sourced, new, and the bike is complete and ready for SVA. It's never turned a wheel and will be sold on a 64/15 plate so sold as new technically. It would best be described as shop soiled as its been knocking about in a warehouse for a good while with a few marks and scratches, but looks great as its old but new. Thoughts please Col
There was a batch of these being offloaded about 4 or 5 years back. They were the base model and they were being offered at 4k. The seller seemed to be pushing them for a long time though as I don't think they were an easy sell. It will need new belts. Even though it's a new Ducati it won't have a warranty. I reckon you will be lucky to get 3k for one now.
can it still be registered as new & not on an age related plate? i don't think it will pass the latest euro emission regs. is'nt that why dealers have to pre-register some vehicles sometimes to get round up-coming emissions legislation ?
It's one of a few that have been sva'd so i'm assuming they will go through fine. Bike's nearly finished if anyone's interested.
