It would show up as a import on hpi so naturally people would want it cheaper when you come to sell. Seems a lot of messing about when I'm sure if you haggle hard that discount should be achievable anyway here in the uk
is no chance get discount in uk ? in Coventry - no discount even when you buy 5 in London - dealer adding £400 for each bike to spend in the shop
Dunno maybe for 5 if they have stock, trouble is they are likley to have supply shortage. So why take a deal and discount when you can sell in time to pay DUK and make full profit? Not to metion sell direct and punter spends a few quid more on extras

Went to coventry last week for options of getting new 2015 model. David the lloyds guy was adamant he didn't need to offer any freebies or extra's as they were sold out till late June. I said your not trying very hard for my business & then he offered £500 free service or the run-in 620 mile service & first proper service for free. Still the price for the S+ touring pack was just shy of £17k.
I am really struggling to justify paying that sort of money on a bike that will lose half it's value in around three years! I've just costed the price I would expect to pay after I've bought all the extras - not interested in buying the 'packs' because I only want certain parts in each pack - so looking at buying the parts separately (eg. centre stand, Termi end can and heated grips) and it all comes to £18k give or take a tenner. That's more than I spent on having my new brick garage built last year!!! I've wanted a Mutley since 2010. Didn't get one then because I'm a short arse and they were too big for my little short legs. I was so excited when I heard the 2015 is lower - but is it REALLY WORTH £18,000 for a bike I'm only gonna travel 4,000 miles on each year?!?!:Wideyed: .... I can see myself getting one eventiually - I'll probably buy a low mileage second-hand one in a couple of years...
You can achieved envy status or more importantly come to the conclusion that money doesn't always bring you happiness. Why wait till your older to buy the greatest touring bike that is extortionately priced!
Give it 12 months for both the novelty and the manufacturer cash grab to end. There will be better deals to be had when demand ceases to outstrip supply. You'll see things like panniers being thrown in again and have a more matured production run.
