Off the back of a comment made on another thread by Glid, do you fellow sports bike riders call your bikes a sports bike or super bike. I call the Pani a super bike as that's how it's positioned by Ducati, this has caused the odd comment during conversation, think people thought I may have been trying to be gaudy.
I call the red one "The Red One" and the black one, "The Black One". It's a brilliant system for keeping things straight
mine is currently referred to as my one eyed monster as it has a busted eye at the min. but the reg is bbw which used to be big beautiful woman when running good or big banana wanker when not (it was yellow) but since the rebuild it obviously stands for beautiful black n white... and its a sports bike although it did have a sticker saying super bike
I nicknamed mine Reddy. But to answer your question, I say sport bike, as super bike sounds too pretentious. Like it is so much better than everyone else's. My bike is super! Thinking a red cape flowing behind it...but again, that's just me.
Or if I'm talking to the wife, and she's actually listening: The One I Crashed (916) The Track Bike (749R) The Monster (obvious)
Mine is affectionately known as Betty....... As in " Woah Black Betty, bramalam". Don't generally give it a class title, but it says super bike on it, although the I'm sure plenty of the new super sports could run rings around it...
Orrrr? Orrrr...super duper sport? Still see the cape...going to stay with sport bike. "A" for effort though!
