998 not 996, typo, details on this screen shot. Keep your eyes on ebay and see if we can get this back! Wankers
Just the angle of that 1 pic. Other shots show more clearly. Have shared with both Swedish and Danish Ducati clubs.
Hope you get it back mate. People that do this are scum. I'm all over the South East so will keep a look out.
The one I sold a few years back went straight to Dubai. I know because the police or customs stopped it at Dover and called me the day after I sold it.
As other have said due to numbers it will be very hard to shift in the UK.Probably try and ship abroad or sell in bits.If they try and sell the parts via ebay or forums it will be there un doing.Or will it .Anyone know if the guy that spotted this stolen exhaust on ebay get it back after contacting police. With a bit of luck if it wasn't targeted specifically for being a rare 998R when they realise how difficult it is to shift they may dump it.
Yo Guys. You hear of bike thefts every day now. We live in a heartless world. I had a brand new RD350LC nicked many, many years ago, and it leaves you absolutely gutted. The bike was just 4 weeks old. Fortunately the thieves were found, and they went to prison. My bike was found in bits, completely dismantled, down to engine components. Just a few months ago, I was cleaning my bikes on the drive , when my house phone rang, when I came back outside, there was a van slowly driving past with two guys staring at my bikes. I had to put my Pani in the house as the next day, I was going working abroad for a week. The garage door has now been fitted with extra locks all around the frame, costing me money to protect my possessions. Feel so sorry for this guy losing his Ducati. Lets hope it is found and the guys prosecuted.
