  1. I don't anymore, but your first advice of selling the house was fab, as I now have loads of bikes that I don't ride as part of my pension :p

  2. How will a high miler be an investment esp if you intend to ride a few weekends a year? But at least you won't be devaluing by using in :upyeah:

  3. Awwwww. My pension is just money, can't seem to fit bikes in my pocket to take the shops.

  4. Yeah I thought all the folks after a good investment would want v low miles examples.Seen a few bikes like 916sps sell on fleabay for very good money as they has zero miles on em and stored in the original crate etc.

Don't think you can go far wrong with any sp,sps or R model but if high miles then great it will be far more reliable from my experience and more reason to ride it regularly.

  5. Exactly, money is too easy to take to the shops and spend :)

  6. Ooooh fuck no I don't spend it. I just take it there on a kinda day trip. Then bring it home and put both pounds back in my money box. Don't wanna go all crazy blowing my retirement fund.

  7. Can't abide people just taking the money to the shop then not spending it, give it to me instantly :Meh:

  8. Yev did you sell your 900ss bevel.

  9. not yet. but to be honest wasn't really trying hard, it is up for sale in the shop. let me know if you want it

  10. quick question - SP3 i am looking at has a number plague. i am also looking at 916sp(1) which doesn't have one, can it be possible, did they not come with one?

  11. Bubonic?

  12. Yes some did and some did not ducati was in big trouble when these bikes were made lots of bits and bobs were different .

  13. Yev, I have a '95 SP and no they didn't come with a plaque - as far as I'm aware the plaque issuing started on the SP3. If in doubt about bike look at horizontal cylinder thru v piece - should be blank, twin injectors and elephant logos on tank!

(Incidentally that's how I got my sp cheap - no plaque not sp £1k less - aye thank you!! Only to find out later it was an sp lol)

  14. I really like Bostrom reps, wish I'd have bought one a few years back. Any of those on the lists are great bikes, good luck OP.
