Is It Termignoni?

  1. Hi All

Two months into 749 Bip ownership and very happy to see the weather finally getting warmer!

Inevitably I've already bought a few extra bits which include an exhaust system that was sold as a termi. It seems to be genuine but I would appreciate someone offering an opinion from the pictures.

The exhaust on the bike when I bought it was described as a 999 system that had had the baffles removed. I'm also interested to know how to verify what ecu is in the bike and whether or not it would need changing for the termi can.

I'm sure I'll have many other questions to come as I get to know the bike, but I'd be grateful for some comments on the exhaust for now.

    Thanks

  2. Termi half system yes :) should clean up nicely...

  3. Not sure about the long pipe though - could be standard with CAT?

  4. The exhaust is Termi but the horizontal link pipe has a Cat fitted. You need the link pipe without Cat.

If you can get the numbers off the labels on the ECU you can check them here Ecu DB search , greetings to AKress

  5. In fact yes it is a standard long pipe with CAT :(

  6. Welcome Termis Dave :)

  7. Hello & welcome

  8. Thanks for the replies.

This is the horizontal link pipe that was on the bike with the de-baffled can - am I right to assume from the shape that it has no cat?
