Upmap Key For Termi Doesn't Get Recognised

  1. Hi everyone I have a hypermotard 821SP with the high-level slip-on Termi exhaust. I have been trying to go back to the standard map using the provided key that my dealer gave me but nothing happens when I plug it in. I'm sure I'm plugging it in the correct position until it clicks but literally nothing happens. Can anyone help on this?

  2. I don't know about the hypermotard, but on the multistrada, you get a menu on the screen.

  3. Do you get that menu straightaway? I tried and with my key nothing happens

  4. Ignition off.
    Plug in under pillion seat.
    Ignition on, after initialisation (1-2seconds).
    Upmap menu where the suspension settings etc normally are.
    Up n down and sect with indicator cancel.
    Takes around 20 second s or less to load map. I've no idea how you take it off?
    All mine does is load it.

  7. On the 899 i believe its a trip to the dealers to download the map back to the key,i would guess the hm may be the same.

  8. Yes I checked. On the hypermotard you're supposed to be able to do it without going to the dealer. I suspect they gave me a defective key

  11. I have never heard of one so far but then I have never wished to revert back to standard system.
