Right you lot I'm new to this and have never stripped or rebuilt a bike ever, so please be gentle. I thought I would create a thread to show the stages I'm going through to rebuild this 900ss that is shared with a mate
First up, some of you may have already seen it. But i needed to get the bike back to mine so the Ford galaxy came into play
Forst job was the fact that the frame had been powder coated but wasn't quite the right colour, so it needed a final coat to set it off, this meant stripping it down. Panels off, tank off, then everything else!! I have started to paint it, and will upload once done
An unusual 'caramel' shade of brown on the frame :Wtf: Looks like an early 93 model with the black wheels, black clutch casing and no oil temp gauge. I'd be tempted to paint the frame white, with black wheels and white DUCATI lettering but hey ! it's your bike. Keep the pics coming
