I knew that people would jump to conclusions, right off the bat. I knew it the second the thread was posted!
Ok yes the torque is high but the fact that once off it was full of salt and looked like it hadn't been moved at all Am I right in thinking that once off it would be cleaned and maybe some sort of grease applied? If not then fine I take it all back...oh and I intend to speak to the garage, I would NEVER name until confirmation of any fault or failing. Thanks for all the wise words
@thespionkop - Have you taken it all back yet and thought about what you will now change the thread title to?
@thespionkop - I could if I want to but I'd rather you rectify the situation, given you made the statement without proper foundation, seemingly.
There's nothing to rectify, its my opinion if I feel unhappy with the service. I haven't named anyone, these forums are for free speech and opinion if people feel I am wrong that's fine. If you want to police it then feel free.
So the statement that you made saying "Another Poor Service From An Independent Ducati Garage" doesn’t need to be rectified? Even though it’s not true? Strange.
El toro To clarify as far as I am concerned I not happy with the service so will take that up with the relevant person. As I said its is MY opinion regardless of you being in agreement or not it doesn't change. Take the pay off of you really feel you need to persist with your efforts to get ME to change the title. It appears to me that some people on this forum are self appointed experts on all things Ducati maybe because they are administrators , hold ACU licences or generally are up their own backsides and that then gives them the right to decide what is or is not accepted amongst the elite on this site. Take the post down, I not changing the title.
I think it's just a badly titled thread given the OP didn't know what he was talking about. Just MY opinion, like
Dude, my comment was meant in jest. I hope I've not annoyed you too much. We just seemed to chat about wrenches a lot more than you actual issue. This sort of thing happens a lot on forums.:Muted:
Surely give the guy a break, even if he is a Scouse. He voiced an opinion/suspicion,that some work wasnt carried out.He perhaps sought some confirmation ,or otherwise,of this from the assembled forum brainiacs. After having spoken to the as yet un named shop, things will be clearer and titles may be changed or rogues named.
