  1. Hi all just bought a 821 hyper and running her in sport mode with tc off and abs off only done about 80 miles and having a good time on her is this the setting most others are running there hypers!!!

  2. Sport mode is mega....like an rgv250 or lc350 without the seizures and holed pistons. Touring is like normal 4 stroke mode. Rain mode Only used it in really bad weather so barely moved off tick over

  3. Does these bikes wheelie with tc switched on!!!

  4. I ride my Hyper SP almost always in racing mode (like sport mode), with ABS 2 and DTC 3 I think. this is for central london mind - rarely sport mode - almost never rain mode unless pissing down

  5. Have my sp in sport mainly, DTC 2/3, Abs 1/2. Engine 'high'
It will wheelie with DTC on but it is harder especially on anything over 3 I find

  6. As soon as I got the bike I turned it all off so haven't ridden it with tc on,heard it doesn't wheelie etc but il give it a go on a low dtc setting and see if it's still fun!!!!

  7. What settings would you guys recommend for the track ? (sp version)

Got my first track day booked for the 19th next month and want to get it right :upyeah:

  8. Switch it all off and use your natural ability!

  9. Given it's so easy to set each mode up, I would put it on Race/Sport mode and put a different setting on each (off /1/2) or someting like that. Then you don't have to come off to change settings, you have 3 you can use on track ;)

  10. Put my bike in sport mode with dtc on 3 today didn't like it as soon as the front wheel gets airborne the power shuts down so it's sport mode abs1 dtc3 for me now!!!!!!:)

  11. I can wheelie mine just fine with the dtc on. You just have to do it gently with the clutch, instead of crack the throttle or drop the clutch, power up with the clutch lightly. Or just turn it off and do it how ever you want haha
