  1. Well looks like my ECU shit the bed so now im on the lookout for one of the above
if anyone has one shoot me a pm

  2. Microtec is a better bet.

Why not buy a standard ecu and get chrisw to reflash it.

  3. I no longer have the immobilizer.

  4. You can flash the immobiliser out

  5. My immobiliser was playing up last year so I bought a new sensor ring, not 100% confident with it though. Are you saying I can get the immobiliser taken out of the software Bradders?

  6. Drinky if you wait a month ill sell you the one im getting done now. I will be upgrading to a microtec one end of april

  7. Yep Drinky it can now be removed afaik

  8. I have a 1098/848 ecu. Immo off, no key needed etc.

  9. I just bought one cranker lol where were u 2 hours ago lol

  10. Just to clear things up. The later bikes like the 848/1098/1198/SF/HM do not have immo in the ECU. The immo in these bikes is done by the dash.

  11. I run a microtec..........far superior to the nemesis...

what bike are you using it on?

  12. I had a nemesis but it died so need something to tied me over till end of april when i can get a microtec

  13. i had a nemesis but it couldn't cope with the modified engine which was ironic as they were for ...er....modified engines?

  14. Yeah same issues on my 848 as well

  15. Sounds like a looks like Chris has pissed on my strawberries, I did think the immobiliser was part of the dash. Oh well I'll look into the Nemasis I reckon, seeing as they're made in a shed just up the road.

  16. Firstly, apologies for slightly high jacking this thread.

Chrisw - started to look to get all the stuff together in preparation for selling my 2007 1098s - what should I have in terms of keys (red or black) and codecard. I have tried a quick search on the forum but struggling to find relevant threads - probably not using correct search terms.

    Hope you can assist.

    Cheers.

  17. Card 2 black keys and a red key

  18. Two black keys, key number tag and a code card

There is no red key for your bike

  19. Top tip, jot the Key card number down in the owners manual that way if you lose the card you can still over ride the immobiliser (only a fool wouldn't do that :Banghead::Banghead::Banghead:). That's why I'm looking at getting an after market ECU.

  20. Sounds like it wont matter drinky, as its the dash not eco chris says. Must be a way around it...plenty of 1098 race bikes out there with alternative dashes too
