  8. Yes it is. Does something not look right, or do you ask just because stickers are missing?

    Cheers

  10. Just got back from my first ride, only picked the bike up at lunchtime today then left work early.

A few mods planned already, tail tidy turned up in the post already and the new plate is on the way. I want to add a number board and some carbon, including the belly pan, amongst other things.

  11. Sold my S1000RR, it was an awesomely fast bike but having owned a 999 before, I missed the "event" of riding that the Ducati's deliver and that sound...!

  12. Nice. I do like the colour of those wheels. Mine are black. Was there a choice at original purchase, or did they just change it one year - mine is on a 60 plate?

  13. Pavey - I believe the silvery gold frame & wheels were the colour scheme for the 2009 models and then updated to your colours from 2010. Might be completely wrong though!

I was specifically looking for an 09 to get the colour way as it looks more "classic" Ducati but the black wheels & red frame do look "racier".

  14. Thanks. Totally agree with the above. Quite tempted to get the spray cans out :)

Mine as it stands now. Done loads of work on it over the winter and well happy with her now, miles better ride than it was before.

  16. Looks great mate, very unique. How about powder coating the clutch cover gloss black?

  17. Could do, never thought about that. I would at some stage like to paint the frame red and weld the steering stem post on. Then maybe an alloy tank in the distant future. Don't want to do much more to it while next winter. I got a bit sick of seeing it in pieces so many times, TBH.

  18. I hear you, just want to get out and enjoy it now. Do you clean the exhaust, looks very clean? Mine needs a bit of tlc, wondering what to clean it with.

  19. no mate, it's not that clean. all i did last time was use some Scottish brite and autosol. i might polish them up nest year.
