I love Guy Martin but he'd be mad to take the job You don't want to be the man that replaces Clarkson, you want to be the man who replaces the replacement. Besides, Guy Martin is hardly a car nut is he so it's just not the right job for him, although I hope we see more of guy on the TV
A 'guy' that owns a 800 bhp volvo Amazon and a variety of exotica is in my book fairly enthusiastic about cars. Agree he won't want it, goes against all he says about being famous etc;
Don't disagree with you just feeding out his comments. I can't see anyone being able to take over tbh. Clarkson and Andy willman are the creative minds behind the programme if they are gone it will become a shadow of its former self. I have to disagree with those that said it's become tired this last series had me peeing myself with laughter. However I am a middle aged curmudgeonly old git.
Why bother replacing him? Aren't the other the "hamster" and " captain slow" qualified to just crack on regardless?
May has too much 'integrity' to carry on, I think he will go with JC, however the hamster is different I can see him remaining. It is however all pure speculation and in light of recent events not terribly important in the great scheme of things.
Yes I have to agree, there are many more burning issues to contend with.... Now back to word association!
