  1. Anybody used the M7 RR's on an 1199? I hear they're good and it's time to change.

  2. I'm sure MCN just used them on the 1000's group test so must be half decent...

  3. Had them on me 1199 best tyre I've used bar none , pick my new 12 up on Thursday getting Supercorsas taken off and replaced with m7rr , sc's no good for British weather roads

  5. I've got them fitted to my HP4. Wear rate is fantastic. Not sure the feedback in the dry is as good as the Conti Sport Attacks I had fitted previously to an RC8R but still a great all-round tyre and much more suited to British weather than the SC's.

  6. Excellent feedback guys, thank you very much. That sorts it, I'll go for a pair.

  7. Yeah, I've got them fitted to my 1199R, fantastic Tyre, best all round Tyre I've used bar none

  8. I take it you guys who fitted them used the 55 profile as they don't make a 60 rear? Did it pose any probs with the tc?

  9. Grizzly, what pressure do you find runs best?

  10. On my 3rd set, love them, get around 3.5k miles before they square

  11. Ordered! Got a good deal from Tyreleader. I would have ordered through Oponeo but it seemed to go up by £50 all of a sudden. Only afterwards I saw that was the fast delivery price, the standard delivery price was off the bottom of my iPad, that cost them a sale. Either of these suppliers are well priced. I'll let you know what I think of them, thanks for the input guys.

Anybody know a good fitting place in west London?

  12. i,ve just ordered set of m7 rr Racetecs, just thought i would give them a go and see if they felt or handled any differently from the Supercorsa,s

  13. I've got them on my 1098 SF and they are now my stock tyre. They seem ideally suited to the temperature fluctuations and available grip encountered on British roads. I can't fault them. The rear has just gone past 3500 miles and still isn't quite on the wear bars, despite far too much straight line silliness. Best of all, as they have worn, grip, feel and ride don't seem to have deteriorated at all. They perform right to the end. You get your money's worth.

  14. Interested to know if the 55 profile of these make the electronics on 899 and 1199 behave strangely? Really want a set on my 899 but hoping they will make a 60 profile rear

  15. Gave the new Metzlers a run out today, not that far, probably about 60-80 miles. Even taking it easy on the new set they felt really good. What you guys might like to know is that I'm sure they made the bike turn in quicker. It felt better, quicker to manoeuvre ,less prone to the effects of road seams and really sure footed on bends.

How many times have you put a new set of rubber on and been disappointed, I know I have but these feel great.

  16. Your describing exactly how I felt on my 675r after putting them on. They are fantastic. Let us know if you get any oddities with the TC or ABS with the 55 profile.

  17. I'm not expecting to, the stock tyre was 55 profile.

Interesting you found the same feedback from the tyres.

Last year I put a set of Michilin Road pilot 3's on another Duke, quite frankly I was disappointed. They made me nervous. I found I was just 3lbs under pressure and with them at the correct pressure they were better but nothing, absolutely nothing like these.

Next I'm going to change from flat to progressive on the suspension and it should feel like a whole new bike.

  18. Ah so is the 1199 55 profile? The 899 is 60 profile rear which is a pain to be honest.

  19. Yeah, 55 on the 1199 and they don't do a 60 do they?

  20. No they only offer a 55 at the minute but metzeler said they may offer a 60 in the future.
