1200 Pikes Peak...what's The Difference?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by PeterDucati, Mar 30, 2015.

  1. OK, so apart from the paint job whats the difference between a MTS1200 S (Touring or Sport) and the Pikes Peak version to justify the extra cost?

  2. Marchenesi lightweight wheels, loads of carbon bits, heated grips (I think), 2 screens (one carbon and one larger touring) and 2 exhausts (standard and a carbon Termi). Possibly more too, I'm sure others will add to this list.

  3. Paint, red frame, lightweight rims, matt carbon beak, front and rear mudguards, screen and air extractors, red stitching to seats, black handlebars, black rear hangers, black bellypan, termi end can,it also comes with standard endcans and standard clear screen and longer black plastic rear hugger. No luggage, center stand or heated grips.

  4. OK thanks to you all.
So apart from the wheels no major difference, just supplied with extras and bling.

  5. Heated grips are an extra.
    Black bars.
    Sports seat.
    Kudos
Everyone will think your are git with £3500 extra pounds to waste.
But really it was only £2500; as they throw in £1000 worth of Ducati extras of your choice.

  6. The prestige of course, :p

  9. Guys if you read the review on the latest Multistrada it says buy the standard bike ! Are we all consumed with the latest electronic gizmos ?. Save yourself a small fortune , buy the standard bike, enjoy the power of the horses provided and more importantly check your tyre pressures ! I've been riding bikes for 20 years plus and don't pretend for 1 minute to be an expert but have assessed more people than I care to talk about on bike safes !

  10. Na, buy the bike you want, don't compromise you'll only regret it, the PP is sexy, reason enough.
