Hi can anyone help me with my problem with 1198s the problem is when you start the engine it's fine and minute later the lights will go off if you turn the dash to the battery it says H1 ,what does H1 mean
Suspect your reg/rec has gone tits up. H1 = high. Looks like another owner who needs to do the mosfet mod.
Yep. Check your voltage..... mine was at 16.2v. Don't run it to much either as mine melted the connections for the headlights so replaced them with audi connectors. No doubt it would have started melting other connectors if I hadn't sorted it.
Mine won't start, only got it yesterday. I fear it may have been standing for a while as it almost goes, but doesn't. The battery is showing 11.7, is that normal/enough to start?
