Running 848 Sf In From New

  1. ive got a new 848 sf can anyone tell me if your dealer can tell how many revs you have been riding it to run it in

  3. No they can't, have you got a problem with it ?
    I kept to the less than 6000 revs more or less, occasionally opening it up to 7 - 8 k but not fistfulls of throttle just gentle rolling the throttle on.

  5. no its not broken i used to build my own race engines when i was racing they only got one 20 min session to run in on a test day its killing me not using all the revs

  6. I just nailed mine from the off.

    Running in is what you did on a 1972 Hillman Hunter IMO.
