Hello, Does anyone know if changing glove size up/down one size changes the finger length? I have bought some dianese scout gloves, I sized them correctly at xl. They feel a little baggy when scrunch my hands but the fingers are touching the ends. Dunno whether to send back for smaller which will probably be tighter but fingers might be too short. These are textile and leather so probably won't give. Thanks.
Probably not a solution for you, but I have found different manufacturers have different sizes even when they say XXL or XL. For my prehensile fingers the only gloves I have found that fit my palm and fingers are Alpinstar
I've got quite thin hands and long fingers. A small would probably fit width wise but I'm always forced to go to a large, sometimes XL, as these sizes are the ones that fit my fingers. So in my experience the answer is Yes & a +1 with a @ducv2. Gloves I've found particularly bad in variation between manufacturers with sizizng
You need to get in touch with a glove manufacturer (milliner?) from either Plymouth or perhaps Bridgwater in Somerset, they are experienced in making gloves with long thin fingers/stumpy sausage like or gloves with 6 sometimes 7 fingers.
Held do gloves with different finger lengths and if that fails they make custom gloves to order for, not a huge price premium
