89db Driveby Limit At Donnington For Panigale 1199 ??

  1. I was going to book up Donnington for the 25th May as well as the Ducati day the day after. The driveby limit is 89Db on the 25th (no noise limit for the Ducati day) which I'm pretty sure is too quiet for the 1199, has anyone attempted to do one of these days?

  2. HAhahahahahaaa

  3. Erm yeah that was my thoughts as well but thought I'd check as I know some people have managed on other bikes by going easy on the driveby.

  4. I'd be amazed even if you rolled over the line with it in N you'd get past it on that matey.

  5. No way, unless it's a friendly tester. My 1199 tested 117 static at cadders.

  6. Haha cheers guys, won't be chancing that one then!

  7. j0n3s what was the outcome at Cadwell

    Thanks

  8. @Bubba - After a couple of retests we managed to get under 105bd

  9. By the way, just fyi I passed at the 89dB drive by at Donnington last year! Cadwell was touch and go managing to get under the 105dB static by managed that ok as well (sig phot).

  10. Not worth the risk, Donny have/did have a bloke who makes a living out of fitting baffles to IL4's that have failed the drive by. Its in their/his interest to ping noisy bikes.

  11. Did a quiet day at donny on my 899 with standard cans with no problems. Was also some 1199s there as well on termis. For the last session I think they took the baffles out and got black flagged. Advice from donnington is that you'll be ok on standard cans.
