Streetfighter Race Shift Pattern -easy?

  1. Hello,

    How easy is it to convert a Streetfighter from road shift pattern to race shift pattern? Does turning the arm on the end of the gear selector shaft through 180 degrees work on these bikes or is a shaft mounted gear lever required?

  2. Yes, either flip upside down or getba direct off the spline lever (may need some fairing mod sometimes)

  4. just turn it 180 degrees done my 848 sf i always run race shift

  5. As others have said, rotate the gear spline arm 180. Done it on mine and it works perfectly.

  6. Does anybody know the reasoning behind why road and race shift are polar opposites?
