Evening gents, I'm sat here just about to order a new set of plates for the 999. It then occurred to me that we may have preferred supplier of such parts. I would definitely rather give someone or a firm the business over another if they are one of the riders from here. I'll give it a few hours before pushing the button. Thoughts anyone ? Andy
Currently using these in my 999 and 1198 NEWFREN F.1545 DISCHI FRIZIONE AD ALTE PRESTAZIONI PER DUCATI 999 (998cc) 2003 | eBay
Sounds good Chris, did they bed in well? No issues? Did they come with the steel plates aswell? A very good option indeed, cheers for the pointer pal Andy
He does a full kit NEWFREN F.1545 AC DISCHI FRIZIONE E DISCHI CONDOTTI PER DUCATI 999 (998cc) 2003 | eBay The only issue I had was stack height. Got round this by replacing one of the new plates with an old one. Will swap it out after a putting some miles on the clutch.
I've used two sets of NewFren now but I won't be doing a third as I'm not that impressed. Having just replaced a clutch with a new oem Ducati set on a friend's bike, you can see the difference in quality and where the extra money goes. Just my 2p worth!
