1200 Rear Tyre Change How Hard Can It Be

  1. ( large amount of swearing) rotten exhaust bolt removed ( finally) and clamp re taped.

    Stainless bolt to be sourced....... in fact sod it I'll replace the lot with stainless, can anyone recomend a good anti seize compound for exhaust bolts ??

    New T30 to be fitted to the rear tommorow.

  3. don't use stainless bolts on applications that need torquing up. The threads stretch and make them impossible to remove.

    I use Gr 8.8, BZP finish with the appropriate compound.

  4. Interesting ymfb I didn't know that, what compound would i use if not coppaslip ?

  5. I generally use ACF50 grease or Copperslip, unless it needs Loctite
