Recently bought a carbon diavel very nice bike first twin . Can't keep off of it , hence 7.5k mile service came up tried booking it into ducati blade group reading told me 6 weeks , so booked it into ducati snell of alton . 2tyres and service good people good job happy days . Because hadn't quite reached 7.5k miles they couldn't turn out service light , but said take the reciept of service with me to any ducati dealer and they would turn light off 2 minute job , passing blade group reading pop in there empty shop with 5 staff stood about mechanics aswell . They say won't do it . I have bought a new honda from this shop and numerous other items £10k plus . Thought I would get a warm welcome . No reason why perhaps going to another shop for my service upset them . Called other ducati dealers they said if I had paper work to say just had serviced by another ducati dealer they would have turned light out . Well guys in reading blade you was all sat scratcting your arses so hopefully someone walks in who owns the shop and finds you all out . By not appreciating the customers who buy bikes that keep you all in a job . Good luck at job seekers
That's a bit crap Dave ..they must have been miffed about going elsewhere ..? Can't have been too busy to do your service if standing around! I bought a Honda from blade Stratford and they were pretty good..might not be happy to hear that I serviced it myself
Hi Martin. Can you leave reviews in the correct place over here for both dealers please? Ducati Authorised Main Dealer Reviews | Ducati Forum Cheers Rob.
Hi peter its Martin , not dave . Yeah I had good relations with honda group I thought. Pisses me off when you think you are a loyal customer. And then realise if you're not spending there not interested. Very short sighted. My son is looking to buy soon and his mates . Thought bike dealers were different. Rose tinted glasses I suppose
They are listed for a review - in fact I'm sure they are really excited with anticipation - give em hell and......... welcome!
another one off the list. I am sensing a 200 mile round trip to the dealer any time I need anything...
Martin..I would drop an email to the manager of the branch and then work your way up if no satisfaction (pointing out the six week wait and you being a customer who has parted with lots of hard earned in their direction ).. I got a free Peugeot service in similar circumstances
If i was in the same predicament i'd send email to manager and tell them experience, when offered anything free, tell the to stick it. Shows the level of servicing, first impressions last, they should show the same level of service whether your buying a can of chain lube to buying a 20k bike..IMO
Totally agree mate . Don't want nothing from them . Apart from them serving me a happy meal for my kids , in there new jobs
Perfectly reasonable for you to come on here and have a gripe, in my opinion. But nothing will change unless you tell them directly. If you don't want to face them, write them a letter, but do let them know you're not happy.
Not the first report of douchery from these guys. Other tales of woe on forums and at the Ace mentioned a similar theme of arrogance.
Hello and welcome Get an email off to the owner the more people that demand a better service hopefully things will change I would put what I expected and how it wasn't lived up too Good luck
