Hello all knowledgable ones, having recently removed and cleaned my clutch plates on the 749 I noticed a couple of the plates were worn out. Is it good practice to replace all 7 or just the ones that are worn out? Also I have developed an occassional noisy and crashing 2nd gear selection, would this be down to the worn plates? Any advice would be good ta  !
Define "worn out"? Worn thin or thin on the tabs? 2nd gear crashing when stationary or changing up from 1st/down from 3rd?
Worn as in the friction material no longer raised, smooth with the plate its mounted to. Crashing changing up from 1st!
They'll be dead then! Barnett plates if you can afford them? Alloy tabs so less dakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakka from the clutch, also lighter? BARNETT CLUTCH KIT DUCATI 900/SS/IE/916/998/999 | eBay
The cheapest pack I found last time was a standard pack from Moto Rapido... Had a Barnett pack and it lasted ok but it slipped before it looked worn out.
