Hi guys, I don't know if this has been covered before but I have a 848 evo and have had a slight accident . Knocked over and the nose cone is cracked and a few scuffs on body panels. I've noticed on eBay....you can buy complete kits at around 3-4 hundred pounds. I think from China but from the photos the kits look pretty good. Has any body brought one or are they best avoided? If these kits are crap does anyone have a good idea of where to get nose cones/parts etc. I have looked at second hand ones but all see to be have scratches and need repainting, thanks
@MissPineapple just recieved a kit from China for her GSXR 600. The kit is very good and looks just like OEM. Only problem is they sent the wrong year and she is responsible for sending it back to get it changed which is completely uneconomical and would take several months. The only complaint I've heard is that the plastic quality is not as good as OEM and they can break easier but for a couple of hundred quid they look like a good number to get the bike back on the road cheaply.

I just need the nose fairing at the moment. Are you breaking the bike? I'm looking for the gold front subframe aswell. Cheers
Hi Steve, no these were a set of fairings that bought when i binned the bike, i had the originals resprayed so they have just been sitting around. I will have a think about the price for just the nose and drop an email later
I've been running with some Chinese Matt black fairings for a few years (just changed them over to full carbon), I honk I paid £260-£270 for them & as it's been said the plastic is not great, fitting up needs a little work but once on to be honest the bikes looks spot on... I had no issues when they arrived from China, took approx 3-4 weeks to turn up, all in all it was worth the wait.. Hope that helps a little
No its in mint condition in red, i have taken pics of the set, do you need the standard screen?, to be honest its perfect condition, i am only funding my new purchase of a Pani 1199s and all the bits i really need? or not but i feel good! it is advertised on Shitbay so i will have to edit that item if you decide to have it, i bought these fairings after i got rear ended whilst stationary, my sprayer decided to re-paint my originals which i will say looked mint when finished, thats why i still have these, i would have been quite happy to fit these without doing anything the whole set looks the dogs nuts
Ah great. If the screen and fixings are available is like those too. Do you have a link to the eBay add? If you make the amendments I'd be happy to purchase.
