Hi all Anyone had any experience of Ducati Wolverhampton, only one review that's not exactly glowing. Based in Wolverhampton but don't mind a bit of travelling to get a 999 serviced valves etc. but don't want it done by a numpty. All advice welcome. Cheers
Get my 1098s serviced by Richard at Luigi Moto in Bristol. Great guy and spot on service...............................and just a straight run down the M5 from Wolves.
Yeah cornerspeed's about the best in the Midlands from what i hear. I travel from Birmingham to Bristol thoughvto see Louigi Moto.
My pani went into JHP last week for a service. Collected my bike and dropped it off, great service from them. If people are saying they struggle to get responses to emails I would give them a call. Avoid Wolverhampton!
My findings with JHP are if it's new and shiny they're your best friend. Turn up wearing work clothes in a beaten up car and you'll struggle to get anyone's attention no matter how much money you're hiding in your pocket. I don't like that. Still, if I broke down outside Ducati Wolverhampton I'd push it to Cornerspeed rather than across their doorstep.
One thing I will say about JHP and I think someone else mentioned it before is that they seem to make up the prices as they go along. When I booked mine in John (workshop manager) made out that it was going to quite expensive labour/parts etc but went ahead with it anyway. Then when I got it collected a chap called Rick (was covering the workshop controller role) and talked through the service and when i could get it back and how much it would cost at to my surprise it was a considerable amount less than what John had told me when I booked it in!
