Just bought my 999s it is all standard cannot effort tuned exhaust at the moment but I have come across people coring the standard can has any body done this and what do you need to do. Also any other suggestions that I can upgrade for now Thanks Andy
Coring the 749/999 is not easy. This covers how to do it. Coring a 999 Exhaust! - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum You will then need an ECU map to address lean running. Even in stock trim, a PCIII USB and a dyno tune will release some extra ponies. The PCIIIs crop up cheap every now and then. Wait your time and pick up some Termis cheap and get the ECU remapped to DP. The best mod you can do is to have the suspension set up professionally for YOU.
Thanks for the advice, will look out for some termis cheap but where to go for the suspension set up I live in Essex any body know who's best in this area?
I know I am from Essex but please explain PC 111 usb is the Ecu so if I do get some termis do I replace the pc111 with another Ecu sorry for being think.
PCIII plugs into the ECU and changes the fuelling. It's in addition to the ECU. There's pros and cons associated with using a PCIII as opposed to remapping the ECU - I'm no expert on this though.
