Aluminium / Replacement Wheel Nuts

  1. I've been looking at replacement wheel nuts for my 821 Hypermotard because the standard ones look a bit tatty. I think the originals are steel. Has anyone here replaced the originals with aluminium aftermarket ones? What are they like? Do you use same torques etc for them?

  2. You might as well by a piece of Stilton and carve yourself one. If you are intent on replacing the OE nut go for steel/stainless or titanium - IMO. Andy

  3. This is what I was thinking to. I'll have a look at titanium instead. Bit pricey though.
