Hi all, (sorry I'm one of those new joiner straight onto for sale forum guys - big Ducati fan and active watcher of the forum just lack time to contribute)... For sale: 2007 Ducati Multistrada 1100 priced at £3,800 Service history at official Ducati dealers at: 621, 7,224, 14,210 Has done 28,000 miles so due a service but has had oil changes every 5,000 miles since and everything else consumable kept up. Bike works perfectly. Only reason I am selling is I'm either looking at a newer model Multistrada or getting back on a sportsbike. This bike is an amazing all rounder. Whether a short day ride of long trip it's super capable and comfortable. I am a massive fan of 2 valve Ducatis and this 1100cc engine is a peach. Never had any reliability issues at all. The 1100 dual-spark benefits from bigger displacement, wet clutch and reduced vibration in the bars compared to the 1000cc model. Handling is good although weight gets a little rear-biased with panniers loaded, would recommend getting the S model with Ohlins if you can afford it. I have gotten an incredible 250miles out of a tank (20L) on a number of occasions of consistent motorway riding so can be very economical. Extras: Ducati Performance riders seat (very small 4mm break at seam on front of seat) Zard exhaust - (can and link pipes), 999 style and much better looking than standard pipes, fuelling is perfect, a nice level of noise. Carbon exhaust cover Carbon rear hugger Full Ducati Performance pannier set including top-box with 4 x matching keys Heated grips Hand guards (first bike I've had with these, well worth having!) 12V socket The standard bits are actually with the previous owner in Crewe, he has been good enough to look after them as I don't have much storage space so can get them down to London or pickup from there (if I can find his number!). Overall has typical for age light signs of use, a bit of light surface corrosion on front header and a little bit of typical Ducati peeling paint on exhaust guard. I'd call this a 8/10 condition bike, the finish on these later model Ducatis is high quality. Rear tyre has 75% life left, front 30%. Chain/sprockets only done approx 3,000miles. Front pads good Rear pads need replacing (already bought just haven't fitted) Oil changed <4000miles ago Only bad bits are the 'glove compartment' inside front right fairing is stuck (nothing inside) and can't get to open, the left battery cover has a small tab missing on inside (you wouldn't know otherwise) and a dodgy chain broke (previous owner only used a clip link) and caused a small piece of the chainguard to break and caused a small bit of damage to outer engine casing, this was professionally fixed and has no further issues, no oil leaks etc. You'd never notice unless were told what to look for. MOT till 23/06/15. No advisories, no money owing. Spare keys, red key and all the Ducati books/documentation. Photo is from a few months ago so will try to get a few more newer photos up. Hopefully have priced right, think it's competitively priced compared to other 1100 Multistradas out there, I've taken the extras and service cost into consideration. The exhaust is worth £400 and the pannier set £500+. Bike located in SW London, drop me a line if interested. Cheers, Nick
BUMP, would consider part exchange/swap for a litre sports bike. Keen to get back on something a bit sportier for the summer.
