Hi everyone, new to this forum I live in Denmark I have lived here for the last 22yrs. I originally come from Newcastle in the NE of England. My current bikes are a 851 which has been updated a little. And a GPZ 900 1984 total std. To ride a bike here is at great expense they cost about 2 1/2 times what they cost in the UK ( example a new panigale cost about 58000 pounds)
Welcome - your coffee and cake shops are just as expensive as the bike shops!!! Why can't you buy bikes (and cakes) in another EU Country, surely EU rules apply?
Yes we can buy bikes in other countries. New bikes are levied with a tax of approx 180% plus vat at 25% ouuuuch. So used imported bikes are levied with a proportional tax.
Yes nice bacon if you live in the UK. All the good bacon is exported and we keep the crap impossible to have a bacon sarny here.
I agree. I lived in Viborg for 6 months back in 1980 and it was impossible to get good bacon as it was all exported!
Hello mate. Ex Toon myself. Work In Copenhagen but live in Malmö to save on the bike prices. Where abouts are you at? We have another guy on here, Jim Dane, who lives north of Cph. We manage to socialise once in a while at trackdays, or the occasional beers in the city.
Bummer. Well if you are ever over our way, or are heading for track time at Padborg, then drop me a line.
