The are NOT from an R model. These are made from carbon, painted red which then has the 998R milled out of the paint into the fibre. I know because I had a n\s fairing panel for years, but could never find an offside at sensible money.
not on that bike though, it would look much better without them . also is that side panel standard ? did you fit the bungs yourself ?
No I didn't fit them myself. I hate them. I bought the bike with them already attached. I planned to remove them and repair the fairing, so I bought a complete standard set of fairings and under tray but I just haven't got around to removing them yet
Nice bike. Not sure on the crash bungs though. Might look better if you painted them anniversary red.
