Interestingly, main dealers have significantly differing excesses on demo rides. ISTR a poster in a previous place saying he'd bailed on JHP and gone to MotoRapido or Aylesbury or somewhere because the excess was half as much. Worth checking.
That's why i asked. JHP was £3k when i tried an 848 there a few years ago. Wouldn't do it again as it destroys the idea of a demo ride.
