I use the RAM mount system on my 3 bikes. The latest an 1198 uses a mount developed by Buybits that fits in the end of the clipon Ducati 848 evo Mount for RAM Motorcycle Mounts (sku 11780) :: [ BuyBits ] It's listed for the 848 EVO but fits the rest of the range.
Check out the Techmount as well, which clamps to the fork tube and is excellent, but a bit expensive at £80
I use a Euro mount, it bolts/clips onto the top of the fork leg stantion and is adjustable. On my 999 it lets the Tomtom sit over the centre yoke nut.Made by company called Techmount .TECHMOUNT 70050 Ducati Speciality 50mm Euro Fork Tube Mount (SKU 7357) :: [ BuyBits ]
I bought one of these cases for the D16RR but found it to be way too big and cumbersome. As I have a waterproof Garmin Zumo and some old Ram mount bits I decided to go for one of these instead (the D16RR doesn't have protruding fork tops for the Techmount system) and I'm hoping it will work on the SPS as well.
