  1. Hi all new to this site. Run a 08 1100s with maxxis diamond tyres, Seen these tyres on more powerful bikes and wonder if they are is okay to ride after they have gone this blue colour after they have cooled down a day or so. They still seem grippy as.

  2. I've had that before. Think I'm right in saying that the tyres may have overheated because of incorrect tyre pressures etc.

I ran my ok, but I think general opinion is that you should change them if that happens.

I'm willing to be corrected on this of course.

EDIT: take a look at this reply Tires Turning Blue - Cornering Forum

  3. Dont worry. I saw many blue tyres in race paddocks while racing including mine.

  4. Thanks for that rear tyre at 40 psi as the tyre fitted recommended, on my second pair of these sport touring tyres but still only getting around 1500 miles on them which was the same with the pilot 2ct.

  5. I ran maxxis superMaxx sports on my R1 and was getting 3500 plus miles on my rear.

  6. Run my rossos at 34psi in the rear of my hyper.

  7. 40psi is way to high imho. Try 35 max

  8. +1 on the tyre pressure. I'd go for something like 35 to 37 psi
