  2. you need to get the plugs out first, are they aluminium or steel?

  3. Huh? Never fitted one. This was already in the garage when I moved in. What "plugs"?

  5. Any idea what model it is?
I've got a Bruteforce one and the fixing bolts will need drilling out if fitted properly.
Obviously they're not easy to remove o_O

  6. four silver plugs? drill em, tap em, bolt em, extract em, reveal torx bolts, unscrew em, remove said anchor me hearties....... ooh arrggg

  11. Pour liquid nitrogen onto the bolts then using a hammer and bolster smash the bearings.
Then undo with an Allen key.
Or weld a bolt to the top or each fixing and undo.

  12. If all that's holding is the two allen bolt anchors just drill the heads off, and buy two new ones if your gonna re-use it.

  13. Have you every tried drilling a ball bearing?
It's nearly as hard as an easyout.

  15. Don't own one, but repaired a few...contain pressurised Nitrogen you know.
I could borrow one if needed.

  16. if yours is the 2 bolt type, use a grinder to put a slot in the bolt tops, use a big screw driver with a spanner or mole grips on it to remove.
Or, just bray a jemmy bar under it, it may lever up if its a crap install.
