Hi All, Firstly good lick to Jen today, gutted i can't be there to support her.... I've got eobd code 1.2 tps to ground, checked pins in tips plug against earth and testing one to earth. When connected ecu showing two pins to earth, is the problem internal in the ecu? Cables seem to check out. thanks all.
You posted this same problem a while back. If the TPS is toast then you can save money replacing just the potentiometer and not the whole throttle bodies. Will cost you around £33 from a Fiat parts department. The part number is in this post 749/999 money saving tip for broken TPS | Ducati Forum
You need to do some continuity tests from the TPS connector to the Motor side ECU connector. You should have a black/violet wire that goes to pin 29. This is the earth. A white/red wire that goes to pin 32. This is the 5v supply. An orange wire that goes to pin 3. This is the TPS output voltage (0 - 5v) In particular if the w/r or O show continuity to earth. The Motor connector will have a brown or black base.
