WHAT?!?! I use a Kriega 20litre doodaah thingy on my pillion seat! none of this back pack bollocks - they make my back ache & stiff after 150 odd miles.... US-20 DryBag - Kriega
Had an old knox one for years, finally died a while ago and not settled on a replacement worthy of its place so just using whatever is to hand now, climbing bags etc. Does the hard shell not limit what you can fit in it somewhat? Would think lack of flexibility would be inconvenient quite a lot of the time.
Kriega all the way. I have 2 tailbacks (stacked) and a rucksack. Use them less now I have the multi and the panniers/top box. Would have to pack a lot of crap to need a rucksack too (or just take the missus away for a weekend).
Don't forget the Kriega water pack that slots in the rucksacks. Brilliant when I did Europe. That's the thing with Kriega, you get a well designed, well made product that has a catalogue of accessories that can simply hook on.
Also, my Kriega 25 isn't supposed to be waterproof as such and I did nearly 200 miles to Scotland in the rain and not so much as a drop got through, really great kit and well worth the money
