With a decat pipe fitted I no longer have this EU compliant Akrapovic titanium bodied/carbon end cap slip on fitted. What you see in the pictures is what you get, the end can has a small tyre rub on the EU label on the back and slight damage to the Akrapovic label which I have tried to show, the carbon shield is very clean. IMPORTANT NOTE : This end can is designed to fit the OE cat pipework. This end can does NOT fit on the Leo Vince decat pipework unless the pipework is modified or you modify the existing clamping set up. Modifying the clamping set up is easy and I can provide my solution with the end can. On decat pipework, this end can provides NO noise mitigation what so ever and whilst the exhaust sound is awesome, in my opinion it is way to loud for road use although I didn't get pulled during the short time it took me to decide it was too loud for me. You should also note, that a non standard 190/50 profile rear tyre (190/55 is std) will rub the end can. UPDATE : checked with local Dealer and short Termignoni is common across 2010/12 models and 2013/14 twin spark so the Akrapovic should fit them all. £350 ono collected from RG26 postal area or plus insured postage. Bump ! Currently negotiating to buy an RS front fairing and carbon air tubes so the sale of this end can should help ease the pain. Open to reasonable hard currency offer, those with copious amounts of Wotsits or Jelly Babies you'll just have to find cash for a change . Andy
I had no issues when it was fitted to the standard cat pipework Jon. Give an hour and I'll see if I've got some pictures on my PC. ANDY Just re read that and I didn't mean to infer there was an issue with the decat pipework, I just didn't have it fitted long before I decided it was too loud. A
Sadly no idea. The research I have done confirms that it will definitely fit the 2010-2012 s and T and 2013-2014 Twin Spark, all of which can fit the same part number short Termignoni. Part number for the 2015 DVT short Termignoni is different. Andy
Silencer Part Number is the same 2012 onwards, the difference appears to be the carbon fibre heat shield, might be worth a punt even if I have to buy a new heat shield.
So the thing to look at is the position of the 2 heat shield securing screws behind the rider's foot rest. If the holes are in the same place then the Akrapovc heat shield should fit. Leave it with me and I'll have a chat with someone I know. Andy
